The Straw Dot (Rivula sericealis) is a species of moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Europe. The species closely resembles Evergestis forficalis.
The wingspan is 18-22 mm. The length of the forewings is 13-15 mm. The moth flies from May to October depending on the location.
The larvae feed on various grasses, such as False Brome and Purple Moor Grass.
